I love baking, and I especially love to back cookies. So today I thought I would share with you guys my favorite chocolate cookie recipe.
300g Caster sugar (Granulated sugar also works)
1 Large egg
200g Butter (Slightly salted)
275g Self-raising flour
75g Cocoa Powder
1 bar of milk chocolate
1 bar of white chocolate
A small dash of milk
1- Set your oven to 200 degrees Celsius
2- Cream together your butter and sugar
3- Mix in your egg
4- Add all your dry ingredients and stir until combined (add a dash of milk if the mixture isn’t coming together / looks dry)
5- Break up all the chocolate and add it to the mixture. Stir the mixture to distribute the chocolate evenly
6- Line 2 baking trays with parchment paper, or you can use a grease proof tray
7- Make small balls of the cookie dough mixture and position them about 10 cm apart on the baking trays as they will spread in the oven
8- Cook the cookies for about 15 minutes and leave them to cool for about 30 minutes afterward in order for the outside to harden
9- Enjoy the cookies with either a coffee or a glass of milk (as they are quite rich and sweet)
I hope you like this recipe and enjoy the cookies that you make. Comment down below what you would like me to bake next.
I hope to speak to you soon.
